Hastelloy flanges are precision-engineered pipe connection components made from corrosion-resistant nickel-molybdenum or nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloys such as Hastelloy C22, C276, and B2. These flanges are designed to withstand extremely aggressive chemical environments, including strong oxidizers, wet chlorine gas, acetic acids, ferric and cupric chlorides, and other harsh media. Commonly used in the chemical processing, pharmaceutical, pulp and paper, and waste treatment industries, Hastelloy flanges offer long-term reliability in highly corrosive systems.
They are manufactured to standards like ASTM B564, ASME B16.5, and B16.47, and are available in types such as weld neck, slip-on, blind, socket weld, threaded, and lap joint. Hastelloy flanges provide excellent resistance to pitting, stress corrosion cracking, and crevice corrosion, even at elevated temperatures.
