Hastelloy sheets are high-performance corrosion-resistant alloy sheets primarily composed of nickel, with varying amounts of molybdenum, chromium, cobalt, and iron depending on the grade. Known for their exceptional resistance to strong oxidizers, acids (such as sulfuric, hydrochloric, and nitric), and high-temperature environments, Hastelloy sheets are ideal for use in aggressive chemical and industrial applications. Common grades include Hastelloy C-22, C-276, and X.
These sheets are widely used in industries such as chemical processing, power generation, marine, aerospace, and pollution control equipment. Hastelloy sheets conform to ASTM standards such as B575 and exhibit excellent mechanical strength, thermal stability, and formability. Their resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking makes them suitable for fabrication of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, reactor liners, and flue gas scrubbers operating under extreme service conditions.
