Monel flanges are made from a group of nickel-copper alloys—primarily Monel 400 and Monel K500—known for their exceptional resistance to seawater, salt, and acidic environments. These flanges exhibit outstanding performance in marine, offshore, and chemical processing applications, where both mechanical strength and resistance to corrosion are critical. Monel’s natural resistance to hydrofluoric acid, sulfuric acid, and alkalis makes it especially suitable for harsh chemical processing systems and piping exposed to aggressive media.
