Monel round bars are solid cylindrical rods made from Monel alloys—primarily composed of nickel (up to 67%) and copper, with small amounts of iron, manganese, carbon, and silicon. These bars are known for their exceptional corrosion resistance, especially in seawater and acidic environments, making them ideal for marine, chemical, and offshore applications.
Monel K500, in particular, is age-hardenable and provides greater strength and hardness than Monel 400. These bars are often used in valve components, pump shafts, heat exchangers, propeller shafts, and fasteners in highly corrosive service conditions.
